Herewith I put my 2002 Volkswagen Golf GTI for sale

Of course this is not "just" any GTI, but a real original Dutch 25jahre GTI, the forerunner of the edition30.

With its unique bodykit, larger brakes, and slightly lower suspension, this is already a pretty unique car from the factory. The unique aspect is further executed inside with a black headliner ( only factory model with a black headliner ) and perforated leather steering wheel/handbrake lever. With the sporty red stitching that also returns in the seat belt.

The past 6 years I have enjoyed this super nice GTI, in this time the car has never let me down.

Of course in the past 6 years I have also made some modifications to the car, including:

- A rebuilt engine with stronger connecting rods and pistons

- a hybrid K04 turbo, combined with a different downpipe and milltek exhaust system ( slightly more noise as standard but very neat and definitely not loud )

- a reinforced clutch set from Sachs, with oem pedal feel.

- dieselgeek Sigma6 shift arms+ bushings for a more confident shifting feel

- airtech intercooler set, to keep all temperatures nicely within the necessary margins

- the car was repainted 3 years ago in the original color, car is a real mirror when clean

- all bushings and rubbers on the suspension replaced with OEM or OEM+ quality parts



-killallwipers wiper delete on the trunk, for a more streamlined look

- upgrade speaker set mounted in the doors.

- car has always received timely maintenance. Usually between 8-10d kilometers.

The car has been tuned at Marvin of MURF-Tuning. Instead of squeezing the maximum out of the car, a tuning that provides a smooth driving experience was chosen instead. The car currently produces 286hp and 448 Nm of torque.

Also, the air conditioning pump was replaced last week during the MOT inspection, and immediately refilled. Invoice available

Are there any downsides?

Yes unfortunately,

-At the ABC pillars and door panels are unfortunately the fabric loose, this can be solved in 2 ways. With a little interior glue and re-pressing, or by reupholstering.

- The floor mats are unfortunately not very neat anymore, the red piping is a bit weathered.

-DAB radio does not seem to have very good coverage in the outskirts, I think this is due to the transmitter in the window. But I actually only use bluetooth so this doesn't bother me. Original radio is unfortunately not there.

- Despite replacing the A/C pump last week, something is still not going right with the cold air routing. It seems that one of the blend doors does not seal properly anymore, so the air direction is not routed properly. For this, the car will still return to the garage.

The golf can be delivered on the pictured BBS RS2 by arrangement
But will basically be sold on the original BBS RC336 as seen in the last few photos.
These have a very fresh set of Bridgestone potenza Sport in the original 225/40/18 tire size.

I could talk for hours about this car and the adventures I have had with it. But then this sales message would get very long.
