- Sought after Manual Gearbox example
- Nero over Grigio
- Recently serviced
In 1994, Ferrari introduced the F355, a significantly improved successor to the stylish yet flawed 348, marking a pivotal moment in the brand's evolution. It bridged the gap between the traditional, hand-crafted Ferraris and a new era of modern technology. This model was the last Ferrari to be hand-built, yet the first to fully embrace modern technology.
The F355 was superior in every aspect. Its heart was a more powerful engine, featuring advanced five-valve cylinder heads and paired with a six-speed gearbox. Handling, refinement, and performance all saw substantial upgrades. And with its Pininfarina-designed body, the F355 is often hailed as one of the most beautiful mid-engine sports cars of its time.
This Motor Car
This particular 355 was sold new in 1996 by Ferrari dealer Auto Becker in Germany. Delivered in a beautiful Nero over Grigio colour combination with the desirable manual gearbox, the car remained registered in Germany with three different owners until May 2004, when it was imported to Sweden. One of its German owners, a hotelier with properties in Turkey, took the car with him to the Mediterranean while keeping it registered in Germany, which explains the three service stamps from the Zeytinoglu workshop during its time abroad.
Since its arrival in Sweden it has been cherished by three owners. Notably, a Ferrita catalysator and a sports exhaust has been installed. Since new, the car benefits from a comprehensive service and maintenance history, which the 17 stamps in the service book and accompanying invoice folder is a testament to. The car's previous owner kept it in his garage for 14 whole years, Servicing the car at Autoropa and DK engineering one time each, and later at EB Auto, a trusted MOTIKON partner and specialist in Italian sports cars.
In conclusion, this 355 GTB is an excellent example of one of the greatest V8 Ferraris of all time, benefiting from a major recent service, including a cam belt replacement, in June 2024. Included in the sale are various invoices, Service book and other Ferrari literature. A full list of completed work, along with history, pictures, and videos, can be provided upon request.
