Informationen auf Deutsch: The Morgan Roadster V6 succeeded the Morgan Plus 8 in 2004. The powerful 3.0 V6 engine provided even better performance and because the engine could be placed a little further back, the steering behavior became more direct and the Morgan suffered less from so-called understeer.
This beautiful example was delivered new in Belgium in 2009 in the beautiful 'Lancia Midnight Blue' metallic colour. Like every Morgan built in 2009, it was factory-fitted with the special Centenary logo on the beautiful walnut dashboard. A year later, the car was purchased by the previous owner and registered in the Netherlands. Since then, the car has been maintained in our workshop and many things have been modified to the owner's liking. Not only optical matters, but also things to improve handling and performance. The 'Williams Tune' ECU upgrade ensures, in combination with the sports air filter, that the engine power increases to approximately 235 hp. A more important advantage is that the reaction speed when pressing the accelerator pedal, is quicker, which makes the car drive more smoothly. The Suplex suspension at the front and the adjustments to the rear wheel suspension, including an extra Panhard rod and Anti-Tramp bar, also provide more comfort and tighter road holding. The sports exhaust provides the finishing touch by subtly making the engine sound a little more audible.
In the interior we see the beautiful Cinnamon leather and a walnut dashboard with the aforementioned badge, and with a stainless steel finish around the counters. Here too, some changes have been made to enhance the whole. The plastic steering column cover has been replaced by a stainless steel one and the standard steering wheel by a wooden MotoLita steering wheel. The chassis rail in front of the seats has been fitted with a beautiful stainless steel cover. Here too, comfort has been taken in consideration. For example, the backrests of the adjustable sports seats are fitted with inflatable lumbar supports. The Roadster is also supplied with the Mohair tonneaucover and sidescreen bag, which both match the roof. In short, this Morgan Roadster V6 is in very good condition, is fitted with some unique accessories and has been excellently maintained.
