Nice TR4 IRS with a great history!

The car was newly ordered by John Hayes from Illinois at the factory in England, where he picked up the car himself in the summer of 1967, then went to France on holiday.

When the holiday was over he drove the car to the port of Le Havre and had it shipped to Chicago where he subsequently used it as an everyday car for many years, it was in his ownership until 2006, where the car came again on board a ship, this time to Denmark, where the car's only Danish owner, Svend, picked it up in December 2006 at the port in Aarhus.

He works on the car over the winter, where, among other things, it had the hood, interior lining, brake hoses, cuffs and the like changed, electronic ignition and a thermostatically controlled fan were also installed, as the plan was for Svand and his wife to go on a trip to Italy in the 2007 (a trip that went well!!), subsequently it has been in Svend's ownership until now and he has continuously maintained the car both mechanically and cosmetically.

Please note that a lot of papers are included throughout the time on the car, from the original final note, shipping papers and lots of documentation on what has been done to the car

To this day it appears nice and well maintained with a normal patina of use, both wire wheels and chrome appear nice, the engine is the original but was repackaged in 2020.
